I know so many people who hate this movie, who fail to see any merit in it. So it’s no surprise really that the plot was kept tightly under wraps.because really, “two people talking in a train station” – it doesn’t sound like much does it? It’s also no surprise, unfortunately, that when the film released, it was sadly condemned by many people as a disaster: people thought it was boring, or rubbished the dancing, or the acting, or the (lack of) story. The storyline of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was kept a closely guarded secret around the time of its release, when anticipation around the film was super high – Shaad Ali’s previous outing Bunty Aur Babli had been a success with audiences, and the energetic, colourful trailers and music for JBJ, along with a pretty promising cast fed the audience anticipation for the follow-up.
